Overview

Resource Coordinator

Under the direction of our Project Executives, the Resource Coordinator is responsible for processing field employee transfers across all projects. May be required to office at project sites within or surrounding the DFW metroplex.

Responsibilities include:

  • Utilize and maintain accurate resource loading data to process field employee transfers
  • Collaborate with Project Team Members to ensure staffing assignments are meeting the needs of the projects and employees.
  • Review Resource-Loading data to anticipate future staffing needs and make recommendations to the Project Executives
  • Identify training gaps and make recommendations for employee development to Project Team members.
  • Collaborate with the Project Team to help identify employees with supervision potential.
  • Be a mentor to field employees and coach when needed to help develop employees.
  • Act as field HR liaison regarding employee relations issues
  • Daily interaction with field employees to gain knowledge of workforce
  • Work with employees and HR to review and process field employee compensation and / or field employee classification changes
  • Administer field employee performance reviews
  • Assist project teams with employees requiring disciplinary actions.
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications

Other:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Proficient computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office (emphasis on MS Excel)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project is preferred
  • Working knowledge of electrical construction means and methods is preferred
  • Previous experience with field staffing in the electrical industry is a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking/writing is a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able safely navigate rough terrain and obstacles of a construction jobsite.
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug/alcohol screening for access to all jobsites.
  • Work hours may vary based on project needs

Travel:

  • Minimal travel outside DFW metroplex
  • Daily travel to various job sites will be required
