Position Summary:
The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking materials, receiving and moving goods, and supporting the inventory management process. This position requires physical labor, including counting inventory, operating forklifts, and participating in cycle counts. The Inventory Clerk will use Warehouse Management Software (WMS) and inventory management systems to track and manage inventory efficiently, ensuring materials are available to meet production demands in a timely and organized manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Tracking & Documentation:
- Accurately record inventory movements in the WMS and inventory management systems, tracking materials, parts, and products throughout the manufacturing process.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all stock levels are updated in real time.
- Assist with conducting regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts, promptly reporting discrepancies or issues to the Inventory Supervisor.
- Material Handling & Physical Labor:
- Physically receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and equipment, ensuring proper documentation and condition of items.
- Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move and store materials within the facility.
- Actively participate in physically counting inventory items, ensuring that all inventory is organized and easily accessible for production and other operational needs.

- Inventory Support for Production Needs:
- Ensure that materials, components, and finished goods are available to meet production schedules and manufacturing demands.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels for raw materials and finished products, ensuring timely delivery of materials to production areas.
- Provide assistance in moving materials to the appropriate locations in the warehouse and production areas to support operational flow.
- Willing to work Saturdays
- System Integration & Inventory Management:
- Utilize WMS and inventory management systems to receive and track inventory, ensuring all incoming and outgoing materials are properly recorded and stored.
- Process inventory transactions such as stock adjustments, returns, and order fulfillment in the system to maintain accurate inventory data.
- Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy by tracking material movements and completing daily/weekly inventory reconciliation tasks.
- Cycle Counts & Inventory Audits:
- Participate in regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and help resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Assist in performing audits of inventory to ensure all items are properly accounted for and meet safety and quality standards.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all inventory-related tasks are carried out in compliance with safety standards, including the proper use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Follow safety procedures when handling materials and ensure proper storage and organization of items to prevent damage or accidents.
- General Administrative Support:
- Assist in generating inventory-related reports and maintaining records.
- Support the Inventory Supervisor and Warehouse Manager with other administrative and operational tasks as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Certification or experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Software (WMS) or other inventory tracking systems.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting materials and counting inventory items.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
