Service Accounts Manager Needed!

 

Currently seeking a Strategic Account Manager to lead a team of service electricians. The SAM will oversee, guide, and manage the work of contractors, vendors, suppliers and employees. Responsibilities include efficient coordination and planning, to ensure that the team provides consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables and products for multiple projects. This person will ensure that workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for promoting environmental stewardship and a work culture focused on health and safety. This position will also work closely with the company’s management team in a decision-support capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Minimum 5 years or more years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical construction industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering or related field is preferred or previous work as Licensed Electrician/Supervisor
  • Must be capable of leading a team of up to 20 electricians.
  • Experience with Electrical / Power Systems such as UPS, Switchgear, Generators, PDU's; a MUST
  • Managing Projects for Electrical installation of Equipment for high profile projects is a plus
  • Customer Service Driven
  • Computer Savvy (Microsoft Suite, MS Project, etc.)
  • Solid Communicator – excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Monitor the performance and progress of staff, motivate, organize and encourage teamwork to ensure productivity targets are met

  • Ensures that departmental goals match those of the organization and that makes sure resources are allocated to meet priorities
  • Proven and successful track record of producing work that is highly accurate, demonstrates attention to detail and reflects well on the organization
  • Personally committed to high quality work and encourages others to have similar standards

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
  • Ability to work long hours and variable schedules on occasion, including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment within the limits of the position.
