We are hiring: Electrical Engineer

Bring your passion, here is what’s needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 5+ years of experience with a focus in large -scale Photovoltaic plants.
• Professional Engineer license is preferred
• Experience with CYMCAP and PVsyst software
• Knowledge of electrical design using AutoCAD, photovoltaic, including power distribution, medium and low voltage systems
• Perform Engineering Calculations using Excel, SKM, and ETAP
• Analyze the constructability, functionality, and best value design review of Engineering Plans
• Conduct Engineering Studies using SKM: Overcurrent Coordination, Arc Flash, Short-Circuit, and Voltage Drop
• Perform Cable Pull Tension Calculations using ETAP
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities and Bill of Materials with support from a drafting designer.
• Review of contractual technical specifications and performance guarantees
• Preparation of Technical Specifications for Equipment and Installation. (Scope of work for subcontractors and suppliers)
• Meetings with Owner’s Engineering and Suppliers.
• On-site visits to ensure compliance with the latest versions of Electrical Engineering documentation.
