    Cummings Electrical, one of the leading providers of electrical contracting services in DFW, is currently seeking an Electrical Superintendent with 10+ years’ experience for projects involving commercial electrical construction.

    The Superintendent is an integral part of the electrical construction process and is responsible for scheduling, monitoring, and controlling the day-to-day- execution of the work, progress and performance of the project. The Superintendent is also responsible for the administration and control of all aspects of the Cummings site specific safety and compliance objectives.

    • Train, manage and evaluate project team members.
    • Ability to assist Project Manager prepare construction schedules
    • Make daily schedules for proper manpower utilization
    • Maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety and accident reports
    • Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve any conflicts
    • Plan, organize and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work
    • Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs
    • Coordinate work with Purchasing to insure that requested material is expedited and received as needed for the construction of project
    • Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards
    • Other duties as required


    • Active Journeyman’s License required
    • Prior knowledge and/or ability to learn and understand the estimating process
    • Must be a Safety True Believer
    • Proficiency with MS Excel and Word is required
    • Exposure to Accubid a plus
    • Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
    • Strong customer service skills required
    • Ability to be mobile to various locations and available to travel to project areas as project needs are required
    • Willingness to travel
    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is preferred or previous work as Licensed Electrician/Supervisor
    • 10+ years of electrical construction experience including 5+ years leading large jobs in Industrial/Commercial industry
