    This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for an experienced, hands-on, results-oriented, licensed electrician to provide evaluations and efficient training, to industry new hires and help them excel within Cummings Electrical.

    Responsibilities

    This person will be responsible for curriculum development, delivery, and continuous improvement of technical skills training in simulated and physical environments. This person will lead learning interventions, including skill development and delivery across company operating divisions. This role requires experience in training development and delivery, to perform needs analysis and make recommendations for training and developmental projects across the organization. This person will work closely with Operations, HSE, HR, and the Training & Employee Development Manager, as well as cross-functional teams to design, deliver and improve essential operations training.  This person will also perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience

    • Minimum 10 years documented electrical field work in the industrial and commercial industry.
    • Minimum Journeyman Level License
    • Troubleshooting Skills
    • Training and Teaching Experience
    • Must have previous experience creating and delivering training programs
    • Strong Electrical Trade Background
    • Demonstrate leadership success in developing learning curricula and content
    • Strong experience in Electrical, Mechanical systems preferred
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
    • Collaborative style with decisive, results-oriented approach
    • Adaptable and innovative in design and execution of learning and development programs, processes and solutions.
    • The ability to develop relationships (internal and external), exhibit strong influencing skills.
    • Impeccable integrity, high work standards and strong problem solving skills are a must.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
    • Must have strong communication skills and professional appearance and demeanor.
