  • Overview

    This role performs a full range of administrative duties, and is responsible for providing purchasing support to our service team in construction operations.


    • Enter and process purchase orders including receiving request for electrical materials and hardware, determining best suited vendor, and issuing PO numbers
    • Purchasing materials for large construction projects
    • Entering and approving AP invoices
    • Working with rental companies to rent and schedule equipment for use on construction sites
    • Analyze vendors for best price, quality and delivery and obtaining vendor approval
    • Comparing estimates
    • Vendor reconciliations at project close
    • Keep current on different tax rates for each job and state and prepare and distribute tax certificates for vendors as needed
    • Other duties as required


    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • 2-5 years of experience with administrative duties (preferred)
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite
    • Timberline accounting and Power Purchase (Merlin) software experience a plus
    • Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills
    • Exercises independent judgment with limited direction from supervisor
    • Work independently and manage one’s time
